affinity

I seem to have an exceptionally strong affinity for dating people who turn out to be complete assholes.



WHYYYYY??????!?!?!?!!


Possible explanations:
1.) 99% of all guys are jerks, and therefore, it's not my fault- the odds are simply against me, and I've got horrible luck.
2.) My personality brings out the "best" in people.
3.) I have excellent taste in picking out decent guys for my friends, but seem to lose that ability when choosing for myself.
4.) My friends suck at warning me when they think the guy I'm dating is an asshole.
5.) I am secretly terrified of nice guys, and decide to date jerks because then I won't feel any remorse for hurting them. They are disposable.
6.) I like a good challenge.
