In regards to dating guys who claim to be close "friends" with their ex:
They are never to be trusted. Ever. It's not worth the effort in trying to make romantic relationships work with such people-- if they're still in regular touch with their ex, chances are, it's not because they're "just friends." It's a load of bull, save yourself the grief. If things were truly "over," they wouldn't want to be in touch with each other. They wouldn't be texting/emailing/chatting/calling each other constantly. His ex also wouldn't have tried to kiss him the last time they saw each other, "as friends." Remember: actions speak more strongly than words... If something seems "fishy," trust your instincts; contrary to what he may tell you, they really ARE flirting, etc. with each other on the side. You were born with your intuitions for a reason, so don't ignore them!!! >:O !!!!!!!
With that being said, QUIT BEING ONE OF THOSE "STUPID"/PATHETIC GIRLS, AND LEARN FROM YOUR PAST MISTAKES!!!! Also: STOP DATING BULLSHITTERS/STOP TRUSTING PEOPLE SO EFFING EASILY (just because they ask you to "trust" them/claim to be a "good guy," it doesn't mean they deserve it! AT ALL!!!)/STOP GIVING PEOPLE THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT!!!! >:O!!!!! EXPERIENCE PROVES THAT YOU WILL MOST LIKELY BE GREETED WITH DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Is it scary that as the years pass, I find myself agreeing more and more with this seemingly extreme statement? If you are going to inflict such emotional pain upon another person, why shouldn't you have to bear the physical equivalent of such distress as your punishment?

Sorry for such a bitter post. But I've been really pissed at myself for the past couple of weeks/haven't had a chance to deal with it because of the stress that comes with finals, and needed to vent. >:[

Girls who keep in touch with their exes are not to be trusted either. Girls with lots of guy friends too. They all want to bang her. Think about that.

That said... Not all guys who are still good friends with their exes are gonna (or want to) get back to their exes :P
yeah, but that's what they all say.
and i used to honestly believe in the idea. however, i now feel stupid for ever having done so, and refuse to be fooled by such bullshit ever again.
