rude

I sat next to the window on the shuttle today, and watched the following scene unfold:

There was a girl walking away from a nearby coffee cart. She was very well-dressed, and was smiling at the steaming cup of coffee she held in her hands. As she got down to the sidewalk, she turned, and began making her way to the bus stop.

Then, a cyclist crashed into her.

The bike's tires rolled over her feet, causing the poor girl to bend forward in pain. Coffee spilled all over the front of her coat, and judging from the look on her face, it must've burned her hands.

Without a moment's pause, the cyclist got back onto his bike, and rode away.
